Erika Alvarado is native to Houston and serves the Greater Houston area real estate market. Erika believes in prioritizing client relationships over transactions and is a skilled communicator, networker, and negotiator. She is thoughtful, supportive, and eager to provide exceptional client care. Erika knows how transformative homeownership can be and wants her clients to feel supported and cared for throughout the process. She is attentive to her clients’ unique needs and makes an effort to personally celebrate each of their successes.
Prior to pursuing a career as a Realtor®, Erika worked as an executive assistant in corporate America. Through this role, she developed a rigorous work ethic and exceptional organizational skills. Drawing upon a similar skill set, she transitioned into her role as a Realtor® seamlessly. Erika has always been passionate about real estate and cites her aunt’s career in real estate as a key inspiration. Currently, Erika serves first-time homebuyers, downsizers, and investors.
Outside of work, Erika volunteers for a nonprofit called We’ll Get This, a charity her best friend started before tragically passing from brain cancer in 2017. The nonprofit provides parking tokens, lodging, and gas cards to patients struggling to pay for medical treatment. Through a series of personal tragedies, including surviving ovarian cancer, Erika has learned to prioritize kindness and empathy inside and outside of work. In part, this is why she is so passionate about her involvement in charity work.
In her free time, Erika loves hiking, reading history books, and spending quality time with her family, especially her goddaughters. On a slow morning, Erika can be found at Levy dog park, latte in hand, with her four dogs.
